So what is this website?

Hello there. I'm Citizen Wayne. Some of you know me, some of you know of me, and most of you reading this page are here for the first time. Who I am is not important, so I do not want to focus attention there. It's what is being said and discussed that matters. So let's get on with it.

Why do I care what goes on here?

This website is a compilation of the things that are interesting to Citizen Wayne, and things Citizen Wayne has written. The things you will see, read, and experience here are things that Citizen Wayne believes are important for you to know and consider. Below is an explanation of the point of view of Citizen Wayne. Judge for yourself if the information and perspective on this website will be useful to you.

Building the case: the Citizen Wayne perspective.

First, the "mainstream media" provides only the perspective and viewpoint of their particular corporate entities. Everything published or broadcast must fit within a certain box, and is sterilized and filtered. It is all too often a "one size fits all" mish mosh of catch phrases, buzz words, and clap trap. It always promotes the vision, worldview, and interests of the establishment. The viewpoint of the individual American citizen is therefore not represented.

Citizen Wayne is different. Citizen Wayne is always coming from the viewpoint of an individual American citizen.

Some Primary Truths.

In the Federalist Papers, good old Alex Hamilton said it best. "In disquistions of every kind, there are certain primary truths and first principles upon which all subsequent reasoning must depend." He went on to say that when these primary truths are violated in a discussion, it's because of an overriding passion, prejudice, or disfunction of the mind (which I interpret to mean insanity or intention to deceive oneself).

So here are some primary truths used by Citizen Wayne.

  • 1. There is a God, and you and I are not Him.
  • 2. Life is short, but what we do here is important.
  • 3. People must think for themselves, and if they do not, they are tools for some other person, idea, or purpose.
  • 4. Nobody wants to be a tool.
  • 5. The United States of America is the greatest nation ever created, and the system created by our Constitution provided more freedom, liberty, opportunity, prosperity, and happiness than any other system in the history of mankind.
  • 6. Freedom, liberty, opportunity, prosperity, and happiness are important, and as such the United States is important, and must be defended and protected.
  • 7. Through reason there is a solution to any problem.
  • 8. The human brain is very powerful and should be used. Often it is not.
  • 9. No matter what you say, you don't know everything, and neither does Citizen Wayne. So walk the walk and talk the talk. Listen up, think, and THEN purposefully act. Don't skip those first two steps like half the zombies out there sleepwalking through life.

Unique? Interested yet? If you aren't at least curious, you are not the target audience of Citizen Wayne. Citizen Wayne is creating a discussion with leaders, influentials, and thinkers. Continue on, live long and prosper, and since you believe in luck, good luck to you. But, if you are curious or intrigued, continue on for another moment.

How to use this resource.

Citizen Wayne expects a few things. He expects you to provide feedback, information, and argument. Use this website, don't just view it. He also expects you to have a sense of humor. This website should spark curiosity, it should be interesting, and it should be entertaining. Finally, he expects you to open mindedly consider and test what you read and see. You should not act on anything written or published here, or anywhere, without doing your own homework and your own thinking.
