You just can't make stuff like this up; nobody would believe it if it were not provably true.

The Bayer Corporation was caught red handed spreading the HIV virus to millions through tainted factor 8 treatments.  When they got caught in the United States, what did they do?  They sold the factor 8 overseas.

Oh, by the way, it's completely unrelated we're sure, but the Bayer Corporation is working on gaining approval for an HIV vaccine.  I'm certain that an outbreak would not help them gain a speedier approval.  Right?

Where is the outrage?  Why don't we see this on every news channel?  

And here's more.  It was going on since at least 1985.  Anyone remember Ryan White, the young hemophiliac that contracted aids through a "blood transfusion"?  He almost certainly was treated with clotting agent.  

To make matters worse, the FDA helped Bayer cover it up, their internal documents stating that Bayer needed the problem "quietly solved without alerting the Congress, the medical community and the public".  Guess what?  Bayer didn't.  They didn't get exposed until over a decade later.  The FDA motto by the way is "Protecting and promoting your health".  When they say "your" health, who exactly is the "your"?

Bayer, for its part, says the aids virus was accidentally put into the clotting factor.  I can see the scene now.  A scientist is preparing the recipe for clotting factor.  "A little plasma, a few platelets, and some HIV for good measure"?  Or maybe he meant to grab the platelets off the shelf and accidentally grabbed a spare vial of HIV they happened to have laying around.  I'm sure most labs have HIV virus laying around that could be accidentally mistaken for other solutions.  I know it was an accident.  It had to be.
