Follow this link to see local news coverage of a 72 year old woman who was tasered at a speed trap for, again, "resisting arrest".  We can't make this stuff up.  The local news and this blog, following typical "journalistic standards" make excuses for the officer who could not prevent the situation from escalating into an assault and arrest of this roughly 90 pound great grandmother.  "Journalists" do this because they are afraid that if they say what they really think, that this officer went crazy, that they will "no longer have access to sources, and will be freezed out by city hall". That type of journalism is more cowardly than this officer if you ask me.  So watch the video, and read between the lines on the news coverage.  Oh, and by the way, the local cops won't release the dash camera footage of the scene, which would prove their contention that this great grandmother was "violent" and that the use of a taser on her was "appropriate".
